Manage team that plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager Configuration Analysis 2to join our team located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Configuration Analysis Manager oversees and manages the daily operations aspects of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs). Manager responsibilities include: cost, schedule, and performance of a specific work products and team deliverables. Assignments are received in task oriented terms. Manage performance in working in a fast paced support/resource environment while delivering a quality work product and having positive customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities:
β€’ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving.β€’ Executes department procedures that typically affect individual employees within own department. β€’ Administers and executes policies and procedures that typically affect individual subordinate employees.β€’ Provides direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents; work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.β€’ Champion and lead continuous improvement projects and streamlining of common site specific, Sector, and Corporate processes.β€’ Leads team meetings and maintains strong, positive interoffice and stakeholder relations.
β€’ Foster an Inclusive work environment.

Basic Qualifications:
β€’ Bachelor's Degree with 9 years related experience; Master's Degree with 7 years related experience; Associate's degree with 11 years of experience or 13 years of experience in lieu of degreeβ€’ Knowledge of Configuration Management and Data Management concepts.β€’ Experience with reading and interpreting Engineering drawings, parts lists and revision notices.β€’ Ability to respond effectively to changing events and competing priorities.β€’ Experience developing/implementing common processes, product templates/standards/checklists, metrics, root cause/corrective actions and training.β€’ Demonstrated ability to partner cross-discipline, cross-function, cross-Sector while leading teams; Experience in leading organizational efforts. β€’ Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems.
β€’ Understanding of Material Resource Planning (MRP) Systems.
β€’ Moderate skill level in Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)β€’ Candidate should possess good interpersonal and leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
β€’ 5 years of related Configuration Management / Data Management Experience.
β€’ Working knowledge of EIA-649 and GEIA-859.

Salary Range: $102,500.00 - $153,700.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.
