As a Quality Engineer at IBM your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Whether the testing is manual automated or cognitive you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for:
- Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium Protractor Katalon Cucumber etc.
- Create test data and test environments
- Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution
- Identify understand and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program application or set of applications
- Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly
- Hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright (TypeScript) and Selenium (Java).
- Strong expertise in designing automation frameworks modular architecture and reusable test components.
- Solid understanding of code quality metrics static code analysis and test coverage reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Skilled in troubleshooting debugging and maintaining automated scripts in dynamic environments.
- Proficient in API automation using Postman and Java/TypeScript-based frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and testing practices.
•  Experience with SonarQube GitHub and version control best practices
•  Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter
•  Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts.
