Pharmacist in Charge β Closed-Door Compounding Pharmacy

We are a fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy specializing in nonsterile compounding and focused exclusively on business-to-business (B2B) relationships. Our clientele includes medical practices, clinics, and other licensed healthcare providers who rely on our customized medications and exceptional service. We pride ourselves on quality, compliance, and professional collaboration. as a full time staff pharmacist. Full-time employees can expect to be paid holidays and accrue paid time off. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonsterile compounding, a sharp understanding of regulatory compliance, and a commitment to building and maintaining high-trust B2B partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations
β’ Lead and manage the compounding team, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality in nonsterile compounded products
β’ Maintain all pharmacy licensure, records, and compliance documentation (e.g., SOPs, audits, DEA inventory)
β’ Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and internal leadership
β’ Manage inventory and procurement of raw materials and supplies for compounding
β’ Collaborate with business clients to ensure orders are customized, timely, and clinically appropriate
β’ Train, supervise, and support pharmacy staff to maintain high performance and compliance standards
β’ Identify opportunities for operational improvements, efficiency, and scalability
Qualifications:
β’ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelorβs Degree in Pharmacy (RPh)
β’ Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Texas
β’ Minimum 3 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or PIC role
β’ In-depth knowledge of USP <795> and relevant nonsterile compounding regulations
β’ Strong understanding of B2B pharmacy workflows and client relationship management
β’ Excellent organizational and leadership skills
β’ Experience with pharmacy software systems and digital order processing
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Previous experience in a closed-door or long-term care pharmacy setting
β’ Certification or additional training in compounding
β’ Familiarity with third-party logistics or drop-ship models
