Plumber Helper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Plumber's Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. As a Plumber's Helper, you will assist skilled plumbers in various tasks related to plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties • Assist plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. • Help with the assembly and installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures. • Support the team in diagnosing plumbing issues and implementing solutions. • Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites. • Use basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately. • Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, on remodeling projects. • Perform basic welding tasks as needed for plumbing installations. • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Experience While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will be preferred: • Familiarity with construction plumbing practices. • Basic mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. • Experience on construction sites or in maintenance person roles is beneficial. • Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings is an asset. • Previous experience in remodeling or related fields is advantageous.
