Plumbing Engineer Entry Level

Please read this posting carefully, this is not a plumber position, but a plumbing design engineer. Chosen MEP, Corp, is a consulting engineering firm that provides design services in various building sectors from residential to commercial buildings. We are looking for a serious individual to design plumbing plans. This is an entry position but the individual must have at least one to two years of experience in MEP design industry preferably NYC. You should have worked in drafting/designing for firms only that were drafting HVAC, Plumbing and Sprinklers. · The individual should be able to design basic plumbing plans to include domestic, sanitary, storm and gas for town houses and small residential multi family buildings. · Take Architectural plans to clean and set up for senior engineers. · Work with other disciplines to coordinate plans. Knowledge of Autocad is required. This is a multi-task position, where individual will be handling multiple projects and there is an opportunity to move into design.
