Production Assistant

Our Novato studio is looking for a Production Assistant, based locally or onsite near to Petaluma, California at our top-secret facility. Behind these unassuming walls perform the greatest athletes in the NBA and actors to perform for the NBA2K game.

• Manage all script related tasks leading into day of shoot(s). Including verification of the most current script(s) and verifying shot names in shot tracking tools and printing/dispensing scripts for each individual actors and production crew on the morning of a shoot. This would require attendance at all shoots and tracking throughout the day of shooting and retrieve any updated scripts that were edited on the day
• Assist MyCareer Line Producer in shoot prep and day of logistics. Including monitoring actor schedule status, attending to Actor or Director needs day of shooting. This would also include transportation/individuals needs for any MyCareer production personnel or Actors
• Booking hotel, flight and rental car with travel agency for production crew and LA based actors
• Track shotlists, shot assert data base, and shoot scheduling grid in preparation for Mocap shoots so all tools and data are in sync for increased efficiency for mocap capture and data integration by Visual Concepts
• During shoot day act as on set Script Supervisor which involves running the teleprompter for all talent on Mocap. This also includes script loading, version verification and line feeding to actor who are not using the teleprompter
• Submit scene videos to transcription company. Review all subtitle files received from transcription company
• Review scenes for data integrity. This would include identifying bad face anims, corrupt audio, anim clipping, scene orientation issues, and clothing issues
• Generate game captures for Presentation, Audio, Art and Design where needed to further speed scene review, production and quality control. Including grabbing augmented data/change lists and local building to generate video to verify fix or polish
• Fix and test bugs as well as testing evolving game features through final stages of development. This could also include supporting Art and Design with feature and bug fix testing if time allotted

• 1-2 years experience in film/TV production, especially film/TV sets
• Well organized, able to maintain several running to-dos lists at one time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to show tact and deference when necessary
• Comfortable making genuine connections with people and creating an aura of warmth and friendliness
• Punctual and enthusiastic and understand the importance of taking detailed notes
• Levelheaded and able to work calmly and effectively when the heat is on
• Ability to interact with internal peers and management as well as vendors and clients
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Shotgrid, G Suite software and Perforce a plus.
• Passion for NBA and video games would be desirable
