This job works in partnership with stakeholders on strategic initiatives and assigned projects. This job is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and reporting out on a project through its lifecycle by utilizing capacity management and leveraging business tools to identify opportunities for best practice strategies.
Education
Required - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, Health Care Administration or related field
Preferred - Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, Health Care Administration or related field
Work Experience
Required - 4 years' experience in healthcare operations, capacity management, project management, or related field or 3 years' of related experience with a Master's degree
Certifications
Preferred - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout required job processes.
- Excellent judgement, organizational, time management, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Extensive analytical skills to create service availability analysis out of raw data.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently, set project priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel throughout and between facilities.
Job Duties
- Provides guidance and expertise related to project initiatives.
- Enables an effective project communication strategy through active communications with stakeholders.
- Analyzes data and generates tools to provide analytical support for stakeholders.
- Serves as a resource for projects and initiatives in assigned focus area system-wide.
- Identifies and resolves project related issues and processes.
- Serves as the point of contact between the stakeholders.
- Other related duties as required.

Physical and Environmental Demands
The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
