As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. What’s in it for you: • Location: Pflugerville, Texas • Schedule : Varies of different schedules (Day and Night Shifts) • Competitive hourly wage of $19.00(DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) • A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options • Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld • Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard • Excellent customer service is always a top priority • Handles inquiries made by the public and clients • Conducts screenings of persons upon entry to the facility. • Controls, regulates and directs pedestrian traffic. • May perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio) • Prepares clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities as required • Foot and Vehicle Patrol when warranted • Controlling access and ensuring only authorized personnel are given access to the site. • Assist Operations Management in Emergencies Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED) • You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process • If you have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better! • You have a Texas security license or the ability to obtain one • You have a CPR certification or the ability to obtain one • Must have a valid Driver's License • You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to beCertified by Great Place to Work.
