About This Job
The Security Specialist I (User Administration) responsibilities are diverse and involve providing access to IT systems and applications used by end users, whether internal employees, vendors, contractors, Bank Examiners, or Security Guards. Activities range from managing identities and access to providing support to hiring managers.
This position will start out with a flexible (both onsite & work from home) work schedule with the option to work from home more frequently after an initial training period. Incumbents must live within a one-hour drive to our downtown Kansas City location for onsite access for critical issues as needed.
Essential Functions
- Work with all Commerce employees and managers to provide access to services and systems. Collaborate with internal systems administrators as needed, primarily 0365 and Sailpoint administrators.
- Create, modify and delete user access or accounts on the Mainframe
- Modify user access using Active Directory
- Create and/or modify User Access within applications: Branch Connections, Teller Connections, CIA, ENACT, RSA
- Provide Active Directory group access with workflow following using the internal ticketing system
- Provide Active Directory group access and open tickets with application support teams, i.e. (Insight360, Content Manager, On Demand, Quest, etc.)
- Manage user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights
- Create documentation and procedures for a variety of technologies and perform User Access reviews annually
- Work with Sailpoint and Talent Management for New User Provisioning maintain quality service by following organizational standards
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results needed, accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory Administration, including logon scripts used for home and pool drive access
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed
- Ability to learn the Commerce ticketing system
- Self-motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 1+ year previous User Administration or Information Technology experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Active Directory Administration required
