About This Job
The Senior Change Management Specialist will focus on the people side of change as it relates to how we are improving our processes alongside our project management teams. Key responsibilities will be developing and implementing change management strategies leveraging the Prosci Change Management model. We intend for the change management team to increase benefit realization, value creation, and our return on investment in projects. This individual works closely with various cross-functional and project teams and other key stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Provide strategic vision and thought leadership in regard to the impacts of change on organizational structures and systems
- Partner with Project Management and business unit leaders to incorporate change management into projects, CBI Blue Chips and strategic plans
- Define and implement Prosci change management practices for overall change management within the change management team
- Must be able to manage high complexity change initiatives for Consumer Servicing initiatives, including managing change and developing comprehensive communication strategies around change
- Implement Prosci Change Management practices and standards for change initiatives for Consumer Servicing initiatives, including managing change and developing comprehensive communication strategies around change
- Apply change management process and tools to support adoption of changes within Consumer Servicing
- Create and continually iterate on Consumer Servicing actionable deliverables for Change Management levers, such as a Change Management plan, communications plan, and training plan (in coordination with the appropriate training staff)
- Build relationships and engage with Consumer Servicing leaders and key stakeholders, and measure/monitor their levels of engagement and adoption
- Assess the Consumer Servicing organization's level of change readiness, identify issues that impact change, and mitigate and manage risks
- Measure, demonstrate, and articulate the Consumer Servicing change impact to the business of specific people, process, and technology changes and make them tangible for employees
- Support the design, development, and delivery of communications to leadership and key stakeholder groups
- Collaborate with line of business project managers, project owners and analysts on design, development, and delivery of training programs customized by impacted stakeholder group to further user readiness
- Lead the measurement and monitoring of change progress
- Support operating model and organization design efforts
- Manage the overall Change plans and provide status updates to project team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Advanced understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges related to change process
Proven ability to identify and translate requirements for Change Management into clear and measurable work products - Excellent engagement, relationship building, and expectation management skills with stakeholders of all organizational levels across a diverse environment
- Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 6+ years experience in managing project-driven changes including but not limited to business processes, technology and applications, and/or organizational changes required
- Experience managing change related to large enterprise system deployments or large-scale organizational change efforts required
