Senior DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our agile team. This position will work closely with development architects, product owners, IT administrators, QA engineers and application support engineers to design, build and evangelize state of the art CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and infrastructure as a service. This is a key position with tons of growth opportunity as we re-platform, automate and move to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, IT administrators, QA and more
• Architect and build CI/CD and test automation environments and systems
• Architect and automate production infrastructure and application deployments
• Create reusable, scalable code/scripts with sound software development design principles/practices
• Drive improved software quality using DevOps best practices
• Shorten systems development life cycles using DevOps best practices
• Provide continuous integration and continuous delivery using DevOps best practices
• Seek opportunities to teach and evangelize DevOps best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor of Computer Science
• Experience with DevOps related practices
• Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A passion for clean, fast, bug free systems
• Fearless, innovative self-starter that will get their hands dirty!

Nice to have:

• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM framework
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Selenium
• Experience with Visual Studio Code
• Experience with ReactJS, React Native and .Net Core
• Experience with code generation tools and processes
