Job Description
A fully competent project management professional who has a broad understanding of solutions and industry best practices. This first-level project management position provides consistent creative and high quality solution leadership ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer's satisfaction.
Employs independent judgment in guiding moderately complex activities involved in the successful implementation of an integrated business solution, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer's satisfaction. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle's solution meets the customer's objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle's methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle's risk and exposure. As a project lead, assists project team with aspects of their roles. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of small projects and sub-projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 0-5 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
As an Senior Engagement Owner you will cultivate external client relationships to achieve business objectives. You will direct and support a team of associates responsible for client project deliverables. You will influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and execute project objectives. You will create and maintain project plan based on contractual commitments. You will manage project resources, financials, and scope according to project plan and contractual commitments. You will manage project risks and escalate as appropriate. You will, manage project milestones and review regularly with both the internal project and external client teams. You will, collaborate with deployment site leads on the development of site schedules for resourcing trainers for Federal learning events. You will, coordinate with training resources for alignment to virtual and in-person instructor led training assignments. You will be responsible for administrative tasks associated with trainer development, on-boarding readiness, and hours alignment.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to travel up to 100% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Qualifications
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
New York City Pay Range: from $92,200 to $161,500 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $82,500 to $153,000 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
