Senior Global Accountant

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The Sr. Global Accountant will be a core member of the global Finance / Accounting team. You will assist with general ledger accounting and ad hoc accounting projects (including assistance with audit requests). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys process improvement. We are looking for someone who can take on greater responsibilities, ideally ready to promote to an Accounting Manager role within two years.

WHO YOU ARE

• 4+ years of experience years' experience in a high-growth, international company, including intercompany accounting experience, or 2+ year of Public Accounting Experience (Big 4 preferred).
• SaaS/Software experience preferred
• CPA Preferred
• Bachelor of Science, Accounting (Master of Accountancy degree preferred)
• SaaS experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with foreign currency issues
• Experience working with mid-level ERP software (Intacct or NetSuite) a plus
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively and meet deadlines
• Positive, energetic, optimistic attitude, willing to proactively take on responsibilities
• Solid understanding of accounting processes, risks and controls

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with the month-end close process, especially with monthly account reconciliations and performing allocations
• Reconcile and maintain intercompany accounts
• Prepare intercompany billing for multiple entities, including international entities and multiple currencies in compliance with OECD tax requirements
• Special projects as necessary for an acquisitive, growing international company
• Assist with annual financial statement audits
• Prepare general ledger entries
• Maintain and adhere to accounting policies, recommending improvements where needed with direction from the Assistant Controller and VP Corporate Controller
• Assist with International Treasury and Tax operations
