About the job

As a Sr HRBP Manager you’ll work side-by-side with senior leaders in Twilio’s engineering org to craft bold talent strategies that grow organizational capabilities evolve ways-of-working and fuel a culture built to deliver world-class CPaaS products. You’ll report directly to the HRBP lead for the Chief Product Officer and join a group of high-impact HR peers. This role is custom-built for someone who thrives in a product-development environment and is motivated to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities

This role brings energy insight and action to every challenge by:

  • Taking a consultative data-driven approach to uncover opportunities

  • Using analytics and insights to drive timely targeted outcomes

  • Building high-ROI programs ranging from org design workforce planning and culture curation

  • Partnering closely with HR COEs to ensure your functional talent strategy syncs with cyclical programs

  • Turbo-boosting your productivity with sensible usage of AI tools

As a trusted advisor you’ll:

  • Maintain a strong say:do ratio and uphold confidentiality

  • Activate effective executive coaching skills

  • Leverage deep understanding of engineering orgs to shape outcomes

  • Lead by example—living and modeling Twilio Magic (values)

Required:

  • 10+ years of HRBP experience and 4+ years partnering with software engineering or product management teams

  • Deep knowledge of engineering orgs including operating models methodologies roles and trends

  • Proven ability to deliver scalable high-ROI business-first people programs

  • Exceptional communication coaching and relationship-building skills

  • Energized by learning solving complex problems and driving results

Desired:

  • Experience partnering with internal OE consultants and/or HCM strategy firms

  • Background working within HRBP teams that build and drive functional talent strategies

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in CA CT NJ NY PA WA.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Massachusetts Minnesota New Jersey New York Vermont Washington D.C. and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Massachusetts Minnesota Vermont or Washington D.C. : $141520.00 - $176900.00

  • Based in New York New Jersey Washington State or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $149840-$187300.00

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area California: $166400.00-$208000

This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance 401(k) retirement account paid sick time paid personal time off paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible non-discriminatory factors such as skills experience and geographic location.
