For one of our customers we are currently looking for a skilled System Administrator Consultant  with hands-on experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster administration and a strong background in Linux (RHEL-based) systems. This role involves operational responsibility including on-call duties and requires a proactive approach to system ownership and reliability including handling critical cases or maintanance tasks according to the schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters daily management - administration deployment configuration troubleshooting etc.
- Manage RHEL/Linux systems to ensure stability and security
- Handle system operations with full ownership including including on-call rotated support schedule and work on the dedicated product adjustment
- Implementing best practices for network storage and infrastructure according to the overall project requirements
As a Delivery Consultant you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design deliver and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies communication and service orientation skills. - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in cluster administration (OpenShift/Kubernetes) in a project
- Solid background in Linux system administration (RHEL-based) including:
- Network and Infrastructure Fundamentals (routing DNS storage load balancing etc.)
- Monitoring & Observability (optional): Prometheus Loki Grafana
- Scripting / Automation (e.g. Bash Ansible etc.)

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – familiarity with automation frameworks like Ansible Terraform or others
- Cloud & Virtualization Knowledge – exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) or any of virtualization technologies
- Monitoring/Observability – hands-on experience in alerting strategies
- Scripting/Automation – ability to create scripts in Bash Python or other languages for operational tasks
- Security Best Practices – understanding of container security RBAC and compliance standards.
- Performance & Capacity Planning – experience in scaling clusters and optimizing utilization
- CI/CD Integration – knowledge of integrating OpenShift with pipelines
- German language (as a plus)
