  • Lead discussions on component systems and library architecture with engineers to build high-quality components with intuitive APIs that are easy to implement, and promote best practices in our tech organization
  • Build relationships with designers and engineers across different product lines and bridge gaps between product design and engineering
  • Research and identify opportunities for improvements to our existing processes and solutions, create analysis documentation and proof of concepts, and present initiatives to engineering and business audiences
  • Work with the Web Platform’s Leadership to influence and define short/long-term goals and roadmaps
  • Engage in Aglie ceremonies like standups, office hours, weekly planning, and retrospectives
 What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience with the Atomic Design methodology and breaking down complex UI designs into modular pieces that can be intuitively assembled with each other
  • Experience with component systems toolings such as Storybook and Figma
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug web application problems such as front-end performance (core web vitals), bundle size optimization, SSR vs CSR issues, accessibility problems, layout issues, cross-browser bugs, etc.

  • Familiarity with manual accessibility testing using assistive technologies
  • Experience working within an engineering platform or enablement team
  • Experience working with a Design Systems team
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts and trade-offs to both engineering and business audiences
  • Experience with build systems such as webpack and ES6 transpilers (i.e.: babel/SWC)
