This role revolves around optimizing products from an SEO-perspective conducting SEO audits and shaping effective SEO strategies. You'll have the opportunity to track market trends and analyze search performance while also guiding our product SEOs towards excellence. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining up-to-date and compelling SEO content across our portfolio and providing robust support in optimizing our websites from a search perspective.

As a Japanese SEO Expert you are expected to:

• Work closely with Product Owners and a team of developers to ensure that all parts of product development are fully optimized from a search perspective.

• Analyze the data gathered from various tools such as GA4 GSC Ahrefs Screaming Frog and SEMrush and interpret it for the actionable plans for improving products

• Collaborate with Content colleagues to create competitive content based on search behavior and search volume.

• Perform SEO audits and provide in-depth and actionable recommendations.

• Manage SEO optimization strategies.

• Monitor and analyze the relevant competitive landscape and market trends.

• Monitor and analyze search performance using analytics- and ranking tools.

• Continuously train product SEOs to ensure high standards across the organization.

Success in this role means:

• Sites are kept up to date with engaging SEO content across the board matching their product strategy.

• Not only knowing the wide range of theoretical knowledge in the SERP area you should have obtained successful hands-on experience like scaling web-media into a great presence.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a previous SEO role.

• Fluency in English is necessary both written & verbal.

• Japanese language skill is a must

• Deep understanding of SEO principles strategies and implementations.

• Expert knowledge of relevant SEO tools such as SEMrush Arefs Google Search Console etc.

• Strong analytical and prioritization skills.

• Efficient assertive data-driven individual who is proactive and an excellent communicator.

• A self-starter but can work well in a collaborative team environment.

• Detail-oriented work style.

• Experience in the iGaming industry is considered a plus.

• Understanding of Off-Page strategies (link-building) is considered a plus.

• Understanding Technical SEO principles is considered a plus.

• Available to work +/- 2 CET.
