Software Engineer III

As a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within our Corporate Technology Line of Business, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of credit risk management. Located in the vibrant city of London, you will collaborate with traders, quants, and sales professionals in a dynamic, high-energy setting. Your contributions will be crucial to the successful delivery of innovative applications that offer real-time credit risk insights and modernize our platforms.

Job responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by your team.
• Build subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Python and practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Knowledge of software applications & technical processes.
• Primary development platform is Athena (JP Morgan's platform cross-asset risk, pricing and trade management solutions to clients), so any current or prior knowledge in the platform is highly acknowledged.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
