SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TEST
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Candidate is responsible for developing Test Automation framework for several financial products using Java and Selenium/Cypress
- Build, Troubleshoot and Maintain the existing / newly created frameworks
- Design, Prepare, Execute and Maintain test cases to perform Manual testing for several applications
- Candidate is expected to participate in Scrum meetings and act as QA advocate
- Candidate is responsible to build and maintain QA environment including managing CI/CD pipelines
- Candidate is responsible for creating test data using SQL and create mock services to test APIs
- Candidate is expected to create high quality test plan, document test cases, and prepare requirement traceability matrix
- Flexible to learn new process / technologies as per the team needs & expansion
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Strong knowledge of Object-oriented programming language like Java, C# etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Selenium, Maven, TestNG, Postman is highly desirable
- Good to have experience on JavaScript and exposure to Automation tools like Cypress
- Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or related discipline required
- Good to have basic SQL and RDBMS knowledge
- Have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge on Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools required
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Agile/Scrum setup. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving attitude
- Candidates with more experience will be considered on a per case basis
