Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to perform general accounting and financial processes of our company. You'll be responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including entering invoices and updating expense files. You will perform account reconciliations, assist with budget and close processes. You will also carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to clients via email) and generating reports for management and auditing purposes.

Duties and responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Prepare journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)
• Reconcile bank statements
• Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare documents for audits
• Maintain documentation for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivables and Treasury.
• Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes

Requirements

• Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus
