Staff Nurse - Neuro Suite Step Down

• A valid RN license
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• 1 year med surg experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitoring patient vitals and neurological progress ‐ ventricular drains, drips
• Assessing patient condition and progress
• Responding rapidly when needed
• Administering medications and interventions given by Physicians
• Providing patient and family education

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
• Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies
