Your Role and Responsibilities

We are IBM ZOS Test Services Validation and Automation professionals focussing in delivering a world class quality operating systems on Z platform z/OS where customers can TRUST and rely on our systems to deploy their mission critical enterprise applications

What you’ll do:
To Build the world most secure system via Z systems which helps customers to deploy their application to contribute to The Interactive Storage Management Facility (ISMF) provides a series of applications for storage administrators to define and manage SMS configurations. Design and develop tests and workloads to ensure the reliability capacity and scalability of the product by working closely with development within an Agile operating model. Perform test activities in virtual or real environments for various levels of test including functional system integration.

• Architect Design and Develop Test Strategies for various zOS Components features
• Identify Test Automation opportunities implement test cases for automation
• Modernise Test definition implementation and execution mechanisms and solutions.
• Collaborate with global test teams
• Look for continuous improvements in Software Testing Life cycle

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Must Have :
3+ years of relevant experience

• Experience with the Software Testing life cycle; unit test functional system testing preferably OS or enterprise class software products
• Demonstrated QA execution experience of Systems project development testing and release processes
• z/OS based application development and testing experience
• Strong experience in defining Test cases test case automation
• Exposure to test automation test frameworks such as selenium
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Defect identification work with development teams in fix validation
• Ability to learn new tools quickly
• Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
• Able to guide a team of lesser experienced professionals

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• zOS architecture System programming Linux
• Programming languages: MVS JCL REXX Java REST APIs
• Dump reading using Interactive Problem Control System (IPCS). Ability to interpret logs and dumps

• jenkins
