Tax Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be an experienced supervisor to assist leadership in state and local income and business tax compliance, research, planning projects and audit management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and prepare complex state and local income and business tax returns.
• Assist leadership with examination issues, including research and formulation of responses.
• Assist with tax planning and special tax projects.
• Supervise and implement processes and documentation that will ensure proper compliance with taxing authorities.
• Monitor state and local income and business tax developments
• Monitor and maintain internal controls, reports, and relevant tax accounting.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with other functional areas to achieve the overall DaVita Mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, with emphasis in Accounting.
• Public accounting experience and CPA preferred.
• Corporate state and local income tax experience (4+ years)
• Corporate business tax experience (2+ years)
• State and local tax examination experience preferred.
• Tax research skills.

• Alteryx experience is a plus.

Salary/ Wage Range
$78,000.00 - $91,300.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
