Your role and responsibilities
The mission of the IBM Sell Technology Partner Specialist is to cultivate trusted advisor IBM Business Partner relationships and orchestrate joint strategic planning at the Partner firm to drive overall IBM revenue growth wallet share expansion and technical enablement planning. They co-create business growth plans and gain Partner C-Level support for joint growth initiatives as well as bring IBM capabilities and resources together to accelerate Partners' go-to-market success with IBM Technology offerings. They are expert in IBM's Technology offerings and Brand solutions with depth of skills in one or more of IBM's Brands and support Partners across Ecosystem Sell Build and Service Motion sales opportunities.

Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Engages in independent analysis and collaborates with others to gather insights and develop sales strategies.
  • Incorporates and promotes new technology to improve data analysis reporting and problem solving.
  • Project Management to improve processes to eliminate inefficiencies leading to improved project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Experienced in Sales Relationship and Sales process handling.
  • Understands IBM Technology Strategy and principals.
  • Demonstrates understanding of IBM resources and processes.
  • Conducts negotiations and sales deep dives with clients and partners.
