problemsolving database focused technologist to become our next Database Administrator II The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing a large distributed database environment utilizing MSSQL MySQL PostGreSQL and MongoDB for a global customer base while ensuring 247 availability The position will require a high level understanding of database administration data backup amp recovery security query tuning maintenance and configuration The ideal candidate will have some technical experience with a solid foundation of database administration skills along with a positive attitude<span><p> <p><b><b>As a Database Administrator II you will<b><b><p> <ul><li> <p><span>Install design and maintain database system software and implement database security<span><p> <li> <li> <p><span>Provide support on all the stages of database implementation andor database related deployments amp maintenances<span><p> <li> <li> <p><span>Run diagnostic tools to identify database current and future performance bottlenecks and take appropriate corrective actions to improve database performance Work with development teams to tune and optimize queries<span><p> <li> <li> <p><span>Troubleshoot performance and nonperformance related issues either independently or in conjunction with other DBAs<span><p> <li> <li> <p><span>Determine enforce and document database policies procedures and standards<span><p> <li> <li> <p><span>Ensure 247 availability security amp integrity of the production application environment This will include 247 oncall responsibilities on a
