By “Connecting Convenience” across the globe, we empower businesses to increase productivity, make more informed decisions, and engage faster with their customers.Responsibilities:Provides financial software support and timely customer serviceMaintains and records business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P and A/R functions routine accounting activitiesPerform general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassificationsInterface with store managers and personnel to ensure efficient store processing, providing timely and accurate data, preparing statements and basic financial reportsGenerates and reviews customer financial statements, posts journal entries, and reconciles accounts (including period close process) including billing, bank statements, and credit card settlementsReview and analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness, providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presentedPrepares and processes payroll and generates quarterly payroll tax reportsReviews and analyzes general ledger transactions and reports, sometimes working in concert with CPAs and auditorsFollow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial dataDevelop and maintain accounting specifications for system enhancementsDevelop and maintain financial reporting and tracking toolsDesired Skills & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience3+ years of accounting experience; solid US GAAP knowledge.
