CRNA needed near Raleigh, NC Located in Oxford, NC 40 miles to Raleigh NC; 30 miles to Durham, NC Full Time Permanent Position Summary: Performs the primary functions of a certified registered nurse anesthetist and administers anesthetics to surgical, obstetrical, dental, and emergency patients. Observes the patient's condition and monitors the patient who are anesthetized with continued reassessments. Takes necessary measures to counteract unfavorable conditions. Keeps accurate records noting pre-operative. intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia condition. Must be proficient in IV sedation, Regional Blocks, ei. SAB, Epidurals, and General Anesthesia. Assists in the administration of the anesthesia department inventory control, and the general running of the department. Promotes team work within the Operating Room and Hospital, with the medical staff, nursing personnel and other departments. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing. Graduate from an accredited school of anesthesia. Pursues programs of continuing education consistent with requirements of Medical Center. Participates in educational conferences and updates, maintains licensure as a registered nurse and a certified nurse anesthetist. Maintains professional knowledge and skills to all areas of responsibilities.
