Qualifications
Required Work Experience
At least 15 years of experience in operational human resources, and 3 years in strategic human capital management.
Required Special Skills/ Knowledge
Knowledge of best practices in human resources, federal, state, and local employment and labor laws and other regulatory requirements, including FLSA, EEO, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and other employment laws.
The ability to effectively communicate and share data with broad audiences to improve transparency, trust, and confidence in the district and to promote shared learning.
The ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to understand the organizational culture and climate.
The ability to serve as a critical thought-partner and support for principals and department leaders on human resources matters and build their capacity as people managers.
The ability to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity.
Ability to prioritize work efforts to execute overall strategy.
Leadership and people management skills.
Relationship management skills.
