This position is located at Water Spout BLGD's 161, Patriot Blvd, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico.

Duties
Serves as a food service provider helping in the preparation, presentation and the serving or delivery of light food items offered for sale to patrons.
Weighs, or apportions the selected foods on plates, trays and/or bags.
Inspects and cleans counters and trays, outside tables for diners, washes utensils, and maintains cleanliness of the work and display areas.
Orders and/or aids in loading and unloading, stocking, or transporting items and supplies as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR215-3, chapter 2, is required.
Physical Effort: Work requires light to moderate physical effort. May at times, lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds with assistance. Work requires constant standing and walking, reaching and stooping.
Working Conditions: Work area hot and noisy, exposure to sun, minor cuts and bruises, burns and scalds. There is danger of slipping on wet floors due to mopping or spilled food/beverages.
An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
Hours of operation may be from 9:00AM - 12:00AM, daily. This position will require rotating shift to meet mission needs. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade including but not limited to:
1. Ability to work without more than normal supervision.
2. Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order.
3. Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques.
4. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
5. Knowledge of basic sanitation principles.
6. Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
7. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals in order to takes orders and provide change; and determine the number of portions required.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
