Mobile Sales Clerk

Summary This position is located at the Golf Pro Shop, Recreation Division. The incumbent operates the drink and snack cart on the Eagle Haven Golf Course. Learn more about this agency Duties Operates drink cart on the course to sell drinks and food snack items to golfers. Items normally consist of cold beer and soft drinks, chips, crackers, candy and related foodstuffs. Ensures that standard prices are applied and that a clearly visible price list is available to customers. Stocks cart daily, assures that adequate stock levels are on hand to meet anticipated daily demands, collects money, and makes change. He/she maintains a change fund, counts daily receipts, maintains merchandise stock records and prepares daily reports. Observes and complies with sanitation and security regulations and procedures and performs routine cleaning and necessary for the sanitary operation of the unit. Performs various other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Must pass all applicable records and background check. Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment. Qualifications Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. A qualified candidate must possess: Must have basic knowledge of sales procedures and cash handling practices. Must have knowledge of inventory accountability. Must have demonstrated experience in communication skills and customer relations. Must have ability to work independently. Must present a neat, clean and presentable appearance. Education This position does not have a positive education requirement. Additional information Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
