Summary
This position is located at Community Recreation aboard Naval Air Station Lemoore, California. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties necessary for the maintenance of the grounds and outside of buildings.

Must pass all applicable records and background check.
Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
Valid state issued driver's license.
In order to verify fitness for duty, a complete physical examination may be required.
Qualifications
Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs.
A qualified candidate must possess:
Knolwedge of seasonal gardening tasks and procedures. A general knowledge of gardening tasks and procedures.
Knowledge of environmental rules and regulations concerning procedures, equipment, commonly used chemicals and basic safety.
Ability to detect plant diseases and/or unusual plant growth.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power operated tools, such as seeders, spreaders, edgers, hedge trimmers, pruning shears and sprayers.
Basic math and reading skills.
Clear and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing in English.
A minimum of 6 months experience in basic grounds and building maintenance is preferred.
Experience using chemicals and appropriate personal protective equipment within a work setting preferred.
Education
This position does not have a positive educational requirement.

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
