Job Summary Real Estate Office of Commercial and Residential property portfolio is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our management team. B.S in Accounting and /or B.S in business is preferred. Expertise in property management accounting & revenue is a must. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing A/R, A/P, financial records, bank reconciliations, move-in/move-out accounting, commercial recoveries, CAM charges, budget, preparing tax documents, financial review & reporting, GAAP. This position requires proficiency in accounting software (appfolio) and a strong understanding of general accounting principles. The Accountant will be responsible for analyzing cash flow, reconciling general ledgers, and assisting with various accounting tasks to support the overall financial health of the organization. Duties • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the organization's liquidity and financial stability. • Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws. • Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency. • Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits or reviews as necessary. • Forecast future financial trends based on historical data and current market conditions. • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation. Requirements • B.S degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. • B.S. in Buisnes • Proven experience in accounting roles, within real estate management accounting. • Strong knowledge of journal entries, tax regulations, and cash flow analysis techniques. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
