  • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and contract modifications to ensure additional work is properly documented, priced, and billed.
  • Partner with field teams to reconcile labor hours, operational activity, deliverables, and invoicing data to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Lead process optimization initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, improving workflows, and creating scalable operational practices.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, including standard operating procedures, workflow guides, reporting templates, and governance frameworks.
  • Establish controls, ownership structures, approval processes, and audit-ready documentation across financial and operational activities.
  • Serve as a central business operations partner connecting engineering, field operations, finance, staffing teams, and clients.
  • Provide leadership with executive-ready analysis, recommendations, and decision support for strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Manage and support operational team members involved in billing reconciliation, mobilization planning, and business data management.
  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced business operations professional with strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to build scalable processes in complex, project-based environments.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational data into clear insights for executives and clients.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
    • Experience with ERP systems, project controls platforms, billing tools, or workforce management systems is preferred.
    • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, internal controls, audit readiness, or operational excellence frameworks is a plus.
