This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst in the United States.
This role provides a critical bridge between business operations and technology, ensuring that systems and applications effectively support organizational goals. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to analyze system behavior, clarify requirements, and resolve production issues. You will support testing, verify system changes, and contribute to process improvements, all while balancing production support with analytical projects. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, applying systems thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality business solutions. Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and product teams to capture requirements and design effective system solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, contributing to Agile scrum teams in various roles such as Business Analyst, Tester, or Scrum Master as needed.
  • Support requirements testing, including test planning, scenario development, defect tracking, and validation of results to minimize production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with required standards and approvals throughout project lifecycles.
  • Communicate project status, conduct requirement walkthroughs, and facilitate sprint reviews with internal and external teams.
  • Review and validate system changes in test environments to ensure they meet business expectations prior to production release.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of business processes, system behavior, and analytical findings.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IS/IT, with preferred exposure to the healthcare or health insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, ITIL, TOGAF, or PMP certifications is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Agile methodology, and Agile project management practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and production support.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to Department of Defense (DOD) contract requirements, along with the ability to pass a background check.
