This role sits at the heart of enterprise Learning & Development strategy, shaping how leaders and employees build critical capabilities for today and the future.
You will act as a senior learning design consultant, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into impactful learning solutions.
The position combines strategic advisory work with hands-on instructional design across complex, multi-modal learning programs.
You will lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from analysis through implementation, ensuring alignment with business priorities and talent strategy.

This role also provides the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide learning practices, coaching peers and advancing design standards across the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end learning consulting for complex, high-impact initiatives, including needs analysis, solution design strategy, and instructional planning.
  • Design and oversee scalable, blended learning solutions such as programs, frameworks, and performance support tools aligned with business outcomes.
  • Manage and lead large, cross-functional projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring governance of scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate design and development resources across teams, providing direction and ensuring quality execution of learning deliverables.
  • Ensure all learning solutions meet enterprise standards for quality, accessibility, inclusion, and brand consistency.
  • Drive continuous improvement of learning design practices based on industry trends, performance consulting insights, and organizational needs.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence learning strategy and promote a unified enterprise learning approach.
  • Support capability building within the L&D function through coaching, mentoring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.

  • Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, particularly in instructional design, performance consulting, and learning solution development.
    • Strong expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and enterprise learning strategy.
    • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or curriculum design in large organizations.
    • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across diverse teams.
    • Excellent analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including experience with enterprise-level messaging.
    • Experience with change management and project coordination is considered an asset.
    • Relevant certification or degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or related fields (e.g., CTDP, eLearning design) is an asset.
    • Post-graduate education in Adult Learning & Development is preferred.
