Contract / Subcontract Administrator

STR is seeking a highly motivated candidate with federal government contract and subcontract administrator experience in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence acquisition space to join an outstanding and growing Contracts team. Core Responsibilities

• Administer Government contracts and subcontracts in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations
• Execute lifecycle contract and subcontractor administration functions, including negotiation
• Manage proposals directly with STR’s subcontractors, to include sending requests for proposals, proposal analysis, compliance activities, and proposal revision coordination
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements in day-to-day execution and periodic audits
• Draft and negotiate subcontract agreements to include interpreting proper flow down requirements from the prime contract
• Define contract requirements and monitor performance
• Provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements
• Participate in proposal preparation and examine cost proposals to ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, partners, and stakeholders
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to scale and optimize contracting activities and practices
• Participate in special projects

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
• 2-5 years contract administration experience in support of federal government programs, particularly in support of programs under the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), and agency specific regulations
• Familiarity with export control laws and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret federal regulations and related acquisition policies and guidance, and to apply those regulations in context
• Familiarity with various Government contract types (i.e., CPFF, FFP, T&M, Cost-Reimbursement, Labor-Hour) preferred
