Team: Others

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Care Delivery in the United States.

This leadership role sits at the center of a fast-scaling behavioral health organization focused on integrating mental health support into oncology care environments. The position is responsible for overseeing care manager teams delivering high-impact, patient-centered services within clinical settings. It combines operational leadership, people management, and data-driven performance optimization. The role requires close collaboration with clinical leaders, operations, and product teams to ensure consistent care quality and scalable delivery systems. It is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a leader who can operate comfortably across analytics, frontline execution, and team development. The environment is fast-moving, mission-driven, and built around expanding access to care for highly vulnerable patient populations.

Accountabilities:

  • Own end-to-end performance of behavioral health care manager teams, including engagement, productivity, clinical outcomes, utilization, and client KPIs, using data to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Translate the care model into scalable operational workflows, staffing frameworks, productivity standards, and performance targets to ensure consistent execution across teams and partners.
  • Build and refine operational systems, quality assurance programs, and process improvements that enhance care delivery, efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Lead workforce planning, budgeting alignment, and productivity modeling in partnership with finance and people teams to ensure operational and financial sustainability.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and development of care managers and team leads while fostering a high-performance, retention-focused team culture.
  • Partner with clinical leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure fidelity to care models, strong patient outcomes, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support client-facing operational performance, ensuring reporting accuracy and maintaining strong delivery standards across partnerships.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in behavioral health, clinical operations, or care delivery environments, with direct leadership of care teams in virtual or hybrid models.
    • Proven experience managing and scaling teams, including developing managers or lead-level staff and driving accountability for team outcomes.
    • Strong operational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, build performance frameworks, and translate insights into action.
    • Experience working with budget management, workforce planning, and operational efficiency in a healthcare or care delivery setting.
    • Background in collaborative care, integrated behavioral health, oncology, or value-based care models is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
    • Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation aligned with leadership responsibility and healthcare market standards.
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
      • Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization improving cancer patient mental health outcomes.
      • High-growth environment with strong career development and leadership advancement opportunities.
      • Collaborative, cross-functional culture with close exposure to clinical, product, and operations teams.
      • Flexibility in work arrangements depending on role and organizational needs.
      • Participation in building scalable care delivery systems with real-world patient impact.
