Job description

Team: Marketing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Marketing in United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the marketing vision in one of the organization’s most strategic growth markets. You will own the US marketing strategy end-to-end, balancing global brand direction with local market relevance to drive measurable business outcomes. The role combines strategic leadership, team development, and hands-on commercial influence across brand, performance, and lifecycle marketing. You will operate as a key partner to global leadership, ensuring alignment while advocating for US market opportunities. This is a highly visible position where your decisions directly influence growth, brand equity, and customer engagement. The environment is fast-moving, scale-up oriented, and ideal for a leader who thrives in ambiguity and builds structure while scaling impact.

Accountabilities:

Lead the overall US marketing strategy, ensuring alignment between global brand direction and local market execution while driving measurable growth across acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • Own and evolve the US marketing roadmap, including brand positioning, performance marketing, content strategy, and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of ownership, creativity, and data-driven execution.
  • Partner with global leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align marketing strategy with broader business and GTM objectives.
  • Oversee marketing budget allocation and optimize spend across channels to maximize ROI and growth efficiency.
  • Translate market insights, consumer trends, and performance data into actionable strategies and campaign improvements.
  • Ensure consistent brand storytelling while adapting messaging to resonate with US audiences and cultural nuances.
  • Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned marketing leader with strong strategic and operational expertise, particularly within fast-scaling tech, SaaS, or marketplace environments. You bring a strong combination of creative vision, commercial thinking, and analytical rigor, along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across global organizations.

    • 7+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally within tech, SaaS, or two-sided marketplace businesses.
    • Proven ability to design and execute growth-focused marketing strategies in the US market.
    • Strong understanding of performance marketing, brand strategy, and customer lifecycle management.
    • Demonstrated experience leading and scaling marketing teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
    • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using insights to guide decision-making.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and executive teams.
    • Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments with a strong bias toward execution and iteration.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary aligned with market benchmarks and experience level.
      • Remote-first role with flexibility and occasional US-based travel for key events.
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
      • Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave support.
      • Retirement savings plan with employer contribution.
      • Wellness, mental health, and employee assistance programs.
      • Home office and remote work support allowances.
      • Access to employee perks, discounts, and lifestyle benefits.
      • Opportunities for professional growth in a rapidly scaling global organization.
