This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Organic Growth in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and scale a global organic growth function, owning SEO, ASO, GEO, and Extension Store optimization across multiple discovery surfaces. You will define the vision, build and manage the roadmap, and lead a high-performing team while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Content, Brand, and International teams. Your work will directly influence traffic, installs, revenue, and brand visibility on a global scale. Accountabilities
- Define and execute the overarching organic growth strategy across SEO, ASO, GEO, and Extension Store platforms.
- Build, mentor, and lead the SEO & Organic Growth team, fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Own the organic growth roadmap, prioritizing initiatives with measurable impact on impressions, clicks, installs, and revenue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Content, Brand, Marketing Operations, and International teams to integrate organic growth into all product and go-to-market initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end SEO performance, including technical audits, content optimization, link-building, and authority-building strategies.
- Oversee App Store and Extension Store optimization, enhancing discoverability, conversion, and user engagement across platforms.
- Develop strategies to maximize visibility in generative AI search engines, leveraging structured content, schema markup, and experimentation.
- Monitor performance metrics, run data-driven experiments, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Evaluate and manage the organic growth tech stack, ensuring efficient and scalable workflows.
- 8–10 years of experience in SEO and/or organic growth, including at least 3 years in a people-management role.
- Demonstrated success driving organic growth across multiple markets, languages, and platforms.
- Proven track record managing high-traffic web properties and consumer apps with substantial install volumes.
- Deep expertise in on-page, off-page, technical SEO, ASO, and emerging generative AI search strategies.
- Hands-on experience with analytics, SEO/ASO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Sensor Tower), and CMS platforms.
- Ability to translate organic growth insights into product roadmap influence, go-to-market strategies, and business outcomes.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, capable of influencing executives and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
