• Define and oversee scalable software architecture to support large-scale, distributed systems operating across diverse environments
• Lead the development of simulation and virtualization frameworks, including hardware- and software-in-the-loop testing, to accelerate development cycles
• Partner closely with product leadership to align engineering execution with customer value and strategic goals
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing software engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and developer productivity across teams
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between software, hardware, and operations teams to deliver cohesive solutions
• Represent technical strategy and vision to executive stakeholders and broader audiences, translating complex concepts into clear insights

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing large, complex systems
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, ideally within hardware-integrated or robotics environments
• Deep technical knowledge of C, C++, Python, Linux-based systems, and networking protocols such as CAN and Ethernet
• Experience with simulation environments and validation strategies to reduce reliance on physical testing
• Solid understanding of AI/ML systems, GPU/CPU architectures, and performance optimization techniques
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven leadership capabilities, including team building, mentoring, and scaling engineering organizations
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments while maintaining strategic focus
