Job Description Summary

The Early Career Training is a 1 year program and it is an investment in young talents where GE trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE business. The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Parts Sales Managers in meeting Orders, Sales & CM targets and growing the parts business in the region.
  • Support the Quote and Order process:
    • To build accurate, on time, comprehensive and competitive quotations to our customers
    • Develop winning bids leveraging competitive intelligence and optimizing price & margins.
    • Planning proactively quarterly sales convertibility, by securing shipment of available inventory
    • Understand the risk process and support the team for to ensure adequate risk mitigation for GE proposals in compliance with Policy 5.0.
    • Validate resultant Customer Purchase Orders for accuracy & obtain amendments in instances where orders do not match GE quotes, and ensure that the Parts fulfillment has a clear visibility to any special requirements, restrictions, Liquidated damages etc.
  • Support the regional sales forecast while ensure accuracy and maintaining related dashboards
  • Providing support in analytics (tender data, profitability, market share analysis, etc. on request)
  • Develops PowerPoint presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

  • BS Engineering - Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical or related engineering background preferred
  • Fresh graduates or basic knowledge.
  • Active listener with good communication skills in English.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactive with high level of integrity.
  • Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction.
  • A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.
  • Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis.
