Engineering Manager - Data Infrastructure

As an Engineering Manager you’ll thrive in leading our Analytic Platform team if you love chasing impact working through ambiguity and developing a culture of innovation. In this role you’ll lead a team of 5-10 engineers leveraging your robust managerial toolbox to drive direct business and customer impact independently. You’ll work closely with your direct reports cross-functional partners and other teams to build the future of Dropbox. Responsibilities

• Help define the future direction for data orchestration at Dropbox and lead a team toward that vision

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate feedback and feature requests into technical requirements

• Drive results by identifying impactful opportunities and ensuring long-term growth and customer impact.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of industry standard big data tools and platforms (e.g. Databricks Snowflake Airflow etc.)

• BS MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g. physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experience

• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience with an engineering team

• Minimum of 5 year as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on and/or managing a data platform

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change): C$178500 - C$210000 - C$241500
