Events Coordinator - Contract
Job Description
Pulumi is looking for an events coordinator to help us plan and execute conferences and community events. In this role, you’ll help keep us on track with event deliverables and logistics, helping execute event details against deadlines to produce engaging and high quality experiences.

Location: Remote - USA. Pulumi is headquartered in Seattle, WA.
In This Job You Will:
Play an important role in driving community growth and engagement through event and field marketing, partnering with our sales and community engineering teams.
Develop and maintain a field marketing and events calendar and related budget
Act as key logistical support for marketing events and trade shows. This includes shipping of materials, booth properties, graphics, computers, literature, registrations, timelines, promotional items, rental equipment, and tracking during transportation.
Assist with swag and giveaways
When relevant, educate internal staff on event responsibilities and task assignments
Ensure that all event expenses are tracked and recorded
To Be Successful In This Role, You Have:
5+ years in field and event marketing
Ability to assist with large scale first and third party events (industry trade shows, user conferences, etc.) as well as smaller community-focused user groups and meetups
A strong collaborator with excellent communication and cross-functional project management skills
Experience with Meetup.com or other community events is strongly preferred
Flexible and adaptable in your approach
Strong attention to detail, deadline driven and ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously
Compensation:
Hourly pay range: $50 - $75 / hour
This role will be a part time contract position with the expectation of 15 - 25 hours per week.
