This role is centered on managing, administering, and optimizing Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) environments within a complex enterprise data ecosystem. You will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of MDM platforms that support critical business data across multiple domains. The position involves hands-on administration, upgrades, and environment management while working across multiple systems and integrations. You will collaborate closely with data engineering, integration, and business teams to ensure reliable and high-quality master data operations. The environment is highly technical, requiring both deep platform expertise and strong operational discipline. This is a contract opportunity suited for someone experienced in enterprise-scale Informatica implementations and support.
Accountabilities:
- Administer and support Informatica MDM environments, ensuring stability, performance, and availability across multiple instances.
- Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of MDM platforms and related databases (preferably Oracle).
- Oversee environment management activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Work with Informatica product suite tools such as IDQ, BDQ, and EDC to support data quality and governance initiatives.
- Support integration of Informatica MDM with enterprise platforms such as MuleSoft, MQ, IIB, and Salesforce (SFDC), including real-time data flows.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data management and system interoperability.
- Maintain documentation and operational best practices for MDM environments and processes.
- Strong hands-on experience as an Informatica MDM Administrator in enterprise environments.
- Proven track record managing multiple MDM environments, including installations, upgrades, and user management.
- Experience with Oracle database administration in support of MDM platforms is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Informatica ecosystem tools, including IDQ, BDQ, and EDC.
- Experience integrating Informatica with enterprise systems such as MuleSoft, IBM MQ, IIB, and Salesforce (SFDC).
- Strong understanding of data management, master data concepts, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive professional attitude.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder (no third-party arrangements).
- Competitive hourly rate on a W2 contract basis ($52/hr DOE).
