About us

The Adobe Digital Imaging (DI) team builds cutting edge imaging products like Photoshop, and it is looking for a talented and highly motivated QE engineer and a technical thinker to help build scalable and responsive applications. This position is for Photoshop team, based out of Bangalore, for Lead Software Engineer (Greybox profile).

What you'll do

o Responsibilities include developing and executing test strategies to ensure product quality

o Ensuring proper functionality and performance of application

o Work closely with development team to design and deliver the key product features

o Sense of complete ownership - own, complete end to end testing and delivery of assigned features

o Creation of Test Plan / Test Harness / Execution / Regression testing / Defect mgmt.

o Experience in modern test methodologies and processes executed throughout the software development life cycle and have a proven track record as an individual contributor in Agile team environment.

o A demonstrated ability to deliver quality product releases on schedule using risk analysis and defect containment practices, test automation, and continuous improvement initiatives are key to this position.

o Good at customer Advocacy and design/test from customer viewpoint to ensure a good product experience

o Responsible for overall quality of the product.

What you need to succeed

o Minimum 10 years of QE/Automation exp

Good scripting skill in any programming languages for automation needs

o Hands on experience working with Automation frameworks- like Junit, Nunit, Selenium, Robotium, or any in-house automation / scripting experience.

o Good knowledge of Basic of computer science fundamentals like, Data Structures / Algorithms

o Experience on testing Desktop(Windows, Mac), and Mobile(Android/Win)

o Good knowledge of test design techniques

o Process-oriented with high attention to detail and good follow-through
