In this role, you will contribute to strategic planning, clinical development initiatives, and scientific engagement activities across a growing neuroscience portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams spanning Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical Development, and Global stakeholders to drive impactful medical strategies and evidence generation plans. Accountabilities:

  • Lead medical strategy and execution for assigned neuroscience programs, particularly within neuromuscular disease areas, while supporting broader neuroscience initiatives as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical Development, and Global teams to support integrated product strategy and tactical planning.
  • Design and oversee clinical research activities, including clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and research collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and local medical experts, investigators, and professional organizations.
  • Drive advisory boards, scientific engagement initiatives, and insight-gathering activities to inform medical strategy and patient care improvements.
  • Support development and review of promotional and non-promotional materials, field force training, and medical communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to leverage data and AI-driven approaches for medical insights and tactical execution.
  • Contribute to innovative scientific communication initiatives through digital and traditional engagement channels.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with compliance standards.
  • Requirements:

    • Doctorate degree required (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA with substantial clinical experience).
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or related functions within biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environments.
    • Strong expertise in neuroscience, with neuromuscular disease experience highly preferred.
    • Proven experience leading clinical research initiatives, including protocol development and evidence generation strategies.
    • Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, patient recruitment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
    • Experience engaging with medical experts, investigators, and professional societies in the neuroscience field.
    • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
