As a Member of Compliance, Financial Crimes Compliance Data Analytics, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that enhance monitoring, detection, and reporting capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional compliance, engineering, and product teams to improve automation and efficiency across critical AML and KYC processes. This role combines technical analytics expertise with regulatory awareness in a dynamic, high-growth fintech and crypto environment. You will contribute directly to the design and optimization of data-driven compliance systems that support global financial integrity. Accountabilities:

  • Analyze complex compliance and financial crimes datasets to generate actionable insights supporting AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring programs
  • Support the design, development, and enhancement of BSA/AML models, including risk scoring, blockchain analytics, and suspicious activity detection systems
  • Drive automation of compliance workflows using internal tools and data-driven approaches to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency
  • Conduct ad hoc and time-sensitive analyses for auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders with high accuracy and responsiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Compliance to improve data systems, models, and reporting infrastructure
  • Contribute to best practices for analytics workflows, including documentation, testing frameworks, code quality, and process improvements
  • Monitor and optimize data flows across compliance systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability
  • Requirements:

    • 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field, preferably within financial services, fintech, or crypto environments
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced queries such as CTEs, window functions, and complex joins
    • Experience working with large-scale datasets and translating raw data into meaningful compliance or business insights
    • Familiarity with compliance domains such as AML, KYC, sanctions screening, or financial crime risk management is highly desirable
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with automation tools, AI-driven workflows, or experimentation with emerging AI technologies is a strong plus
    • Understanding of how data systems, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure interact across organizations
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
