As an operational team member you'll work in a practice crafted from the ground up by veterinarians equipped with advanced equipment and purpose-built technology. What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for supporting the paraprofessional staff in implementing the outlined policies and procedures utilizing integrated technology and managing the practice operational functions.

  • Work with regional and corporate leadership to provide support and continuous development for the practice team.

  • Provide staff management with a primary responsibility of overseeing their operational performance and coordinate work schedules for the team.

  • Demonstrate team support and care for others' work experiences by conducting staff reviews handling their concerns and mentoring Team Members with their career development.

  • Lead team coordination of inventory cycle counts and fulfill inventory needs requests.

  • Engage with clients to ensure they receive the ultimate treatment and resolve conflicts or complaints.

  • Ensure the equipment and clinic are well maintained and OSHA guidelines are followed.

  • Guide team with following the practice's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards of Care (SOC); review SOPs and practice metrics to help improving their performance.

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and Team Members.

  • Be a PIMS administrative super-user and provide assistance to others on the team in their use of the technology.

  • Act responsibly giving the pharmacy holdings of the practice.

  • Participation in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training.

  • Perform related duties and assignments by management.

  • Oversee operating safety and compliance procedures as required by applicable law and Chewy Vet Care processes and policies.

  • Position may require some travel.

What You'll Need:
  • Successful completion of the CVPM program and current certification is preferred.

  • Ability to meet the qualifications for the CVPM designation.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager in practice

  • 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred

  • Experience mentoring and leading others.

  • Ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion.

  • Ability to manage conflict resolution.

  • Excellent verbal / written communication observational and analytical skills

  • Thrive in a fast paced self-starter environment.

Physical Job Requirements:
  • Standing or walking up to 80% per shift.

  • Frequently lift up 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.

  • Occasionally lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.

  • Stand push pull carry squat and kneel.

The base salary range for this role is $72500 - $109000.00.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience education and work location. In addition this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
