Job description

Team: Product

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on shaping and scaling a core strategic initiative within a fast-growing AI-driven HR technology environment. You will define the long-term vision, strategy, and success metrics for a major product area while also driving hands-on execution across roadmap, prioritization, and delivery. This role blends strategic ownership with deep product craft, requiring you to navigate complex customer needs and translate them into scalable, data-driven solutions. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and go-to-market teams to ensure alignment and impact across the organization. A strong emphasis is placed on building AI-native, workflow-driven products that improve how organizations discover, assess, and manage talent. This is a highly cross-functional role in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment where autonomy and ownership are essential. You will play a central role in shaping both the product direction and the broader market positioning.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, vision, and roadmap for a critical product area, including defining KPIs and long-term success metrics.
  • Lead 0→1 and 1→10 product development initiatives, translating ambiguous problem spaces into scalable product solutions.
  • Define and refine customer segments, personas, and market thesis to guide product direction and investment decisions.
  • Drive product execution in close partnership with engineering, ensuring prioritization of high-impact initiatives and timely delivery of milestones.
  • Use both qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform product decisions, validate hypotheses, and guide roadmap evolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer success, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on goals and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows and deliver meaningful customer value.
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in high-growth startup or SaaS environments.
    • Proven experience building B2B SaaS or product-led growth (PLG) solutions, particularly involving multi-step workflows.
    • Strong experience in 0→1 product development and scaling products from early stage to maturity.
    • Hands-on experience with AI-driven products, including conversational or agent-based systems is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with fast-paced execution and delivery.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and user insights to drive product decisions.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Experience with workflow automation, AI/ML-driven products, or HR/recruiting technology is a strong plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and take full ownership of complex product areas.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus and equity grants.
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage for employees and their families.
      • Unlimited paid time off to support work-life balance and flexibility.
      • Home office and productivity stipend to support remote work setup.
      • Professional development budget and access to executive coaching opportunities.
      • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-powered products in a high-growth environment.
      • Inclusive and collaborative culture that values innovation, ownership, and diversity.
