Job description

Team: Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Vice President of Sales based in Australia.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to launch and scale a new regional business from the ground up in one of the most strategically important markets in ANZ. The role combines enterprise sales leadership, market expansion, and full P&L ownership, with responsibility for building both commercial execution and operational foundations. You will define go-to-market strategy, establish key enterprise and government relationships, and drive adoption of advanced AI-driven software solutions across the region. Operating in a high-growth, innovation-led environment, you will collaborate closely with global leadership teams to localize strategy and accelerate market penetration. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to build high-performing teams across multiple functions. This is a rare opportunity to shape a regional presence from inception and directly influence global expansion outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the launch and scaling of regional operations, owning full P&L responsibility, commercial strategy, and execution across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Build and develop a high-performing local organization across sales, customer success, partnerships, engineering, support, and operations functions.
  • Drive enterprise and government sales cycles end-to-end, including pipeline generation, negotiations, and closing complex strategic deals.
  • Establish and expand strategic partnerships with key enterprise and public sector stakeholders in the region.
  • Design and implement scalable go-to-market and operational processes, including onboarding, implementation, and customer success frameworks.
  • Collaborate with global leadership teams to align regional execution with broader product and market strategy.
  • Represent the organization externally across the ANZ business, technology, and government ecosystem.
  • Provide structured market feedback to product and engineering teams to support localization and roadmap priorities.
  • Requirements

    • 10+ years of leadership experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or AI-driven technology organizations, ideally within the ANZ region.
    • Proven track record of launching, scaling, or transforming business operations in new or high-growth markets.
    • Strong enterprise sales and partnership experience, with demonstrated success closing complex, high-value deals.
    • Deep understanding of ANZ enterprise and/or government markets, with established networks being highly valuable.
    • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on executor in fast-paced environments.
    • Experience building and leading cross-functional teams from the ground up.
    • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership experience.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
    • Passion for technology, AI, and shaping the future of enterprise software.
    • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus depending on regional engagement needs.
    • Benefits

      • Full ownership of a regional P&L with significant strategic impact and autonomy.
      • Opportunity to build and scale a market presence from inception.
      • Competitive executive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
      • Remote-first flexibility with regional travel as required.
      • High-impact leadership role within a fast-scaling AI and technology environment.
      • Direct collaboration with global executive and product leadership teams.
      • Opportunity to shape go-to-market strategy for cutting-edge AI software solutions.
      • Strong career growth potential within a rapidly expanding global organization.
